Electronic Toothbrush

I have heard these are good. Many people I know use them. Which one do you have? Do you like it? What should I know before I buy one?

Obvious ploy to kill some time before you construct a real blog post. Ah well, I practically invented this move.

You're in Vegas and the only thing you can blog about is electric toothbrushes? It's a sad sad day in the blogosphere folks.

i've had a sonicare for going on 4? 5? years now and i love, love, love, LOVE it. gum massage, every day, and i brush my teeth for way longer than i used to because it feels that good.

I've got a Braun, which is the only kind I've ever used. The toothbrush heads are expensive, but probably not more so than buying three new toothbrushes. I like that it times my brushing, although I don't know how long it is before it 'alarms'.

Sonicare. We have the one that has little toothpaste packets inside the brush for the ultimate in toothcare laziness. Chris likes it a lot, I'm not a fan of the flavor of paste. you can only get one kind. Still we've had it for 2+ years now and no problems.

I'm actually considering retreating to my trusty Colgate 360 manual. I got an OralB electric on clearance at Target and don't like it so much, actually. But, you get what you pay for, I suppose.

I silently thank my Mom for the seemingly lame Christmas present of my Sonicare toothbrush every time I go to the dentist and hear: "Not much we can do, you teeth look great!" One of those times was after I finally went to the dentist having not been in over 2 years (due to health insurance, or the lack thereof) and STILL no cavities. All thanks to my little electric toothbrush.

P.S. They're cheaper at Costco.
